Thailand Holiday Disaster

Three girls per day, every day. Drinking from 5PM to 7AM in the morning. Hoping from strip club to strip club. Bar to bar. Falling asleep at 10 in the morning. Waking up in the afternoon, and doing the same thing again every day. For day. For weeks. Until your tanks are empty, and you are on your way to the airport heading home.

“I’ve done it all. That was my Thailand holiday. It was intense. It was action-packed!”, you tell yourself.

In fact, it has been so intense, you are actually happy for a break. Going home is perfect now. All the prescious time used, not a single day wasted.

“I could not have done more!”, you are thinking to yourself.

While this is the perfect strategy for most, for some, it will lead to an absolute disaster of a Thailand holiday. I will talk about one such person today: ME – and if you feel the same way about it, I’ll share my thoughts about what I have done to make the time still epic & enjoyable!

Decide: Pay for Play OR Normal Girls

90% of guys come to Thailand for the nightlife, the pay for play, the beer bars, the gogo bars. Walking Street, Soi Cowboy, Nana.

In this regard, Thailand is the prime location in the world.

But maybe you’ve tried it and felt it really isn’t something you enjoy much. What you need to realize is that whether you are doing nightlife, or meeting ‘normal’ girls, you are getting a different Thailand experience.

Most want just fun – and that’s the easy part. But if you are more of the introspective type, it could by that you are questioning the purpose of life after a few encounters, perhaps that you find all of it pointless.

If that is you, then coming to Thailand to meet normal girls is also perfectly fine. Or doing a mix of both.

It’s about knowing yourself, knowing what you want and ignoring what’s going on around you. You don’t need to drink. You don’t need to go out. You don’t need to go out until 5AM.

You can – and certainly I have phases where I enjoy it – and so do most guys. But if you don’t, fire up you online dating, go to bed at 10PM and meet girls during the day.

It will be VERY difficult to do initially because almost every day is party day. You see people going out, and feel like you are missing out, or that you are doing something wrong. But if you genuinly belong to a minority who doesn’t enjoy it, stick to what you know is best for you.

F**k “More Is Better”

I will admit that when first coming to Thailand, more definitely was better. Part of it was lack of experience, some of it was perhaps for ego reasons/validation.

But that phase didn’t last very long – and that’s probably the case for most men. Satiety sets in, your standards go up.

To give you an idea, on my first ever trip to Thailand, I was doing online dating and “met” 12 girls in 14 days. Fast forward to today and I’m meeting a handful of girls per month.

Of course, I was thinking something is wrong. What’s happening? I need to be doing more, more, more!

But really, it’s just a matter of preference. Some men enjoy to keep going at high speed, others prefer to take it slow after some time. And I think that’s perfectly fine. You don’t need to rack up the numbers if you don’t enjoy it.

Thailand is interesting because the first thing guys will talk about is how many girls they met. You met 20 girls, I only met 3. So you had more fun, you’ve made better use of your time.

I think the lesson here is to know yourself. Where you are in life. What you enjoy. If you enjoy your time with a handful of girls, that can also be worth it. Don’t tell yourself you must do more, if you are not that type of guy.

It’s NOT A Holiday

It really depends on how long you are staying, but generally don’t cling on to the idea that you have to completely change your lifestyle and schedule just because you are in Thailand. Again, for most this is what they enjoy, but if you don’t belong to those people, you need to go the opposite way.

Maybe you already enjoy your lifestyle at home but feel like something is missing. Excitement, dating, girls, going out. Then you would simply keep your home schedule and only add those exciting elements. For example, if you don’t like drinking, you don’t even need to go out.

If at home, you are into gym and fitness, you would keep doing that. And the purpose of coming to Thailand wouldn’t be that you do EVERYTHING differently, but to simply do one or two fun things every day that make all the difference.

My Final Good Bye

It’s been fun starting this YouTube channel and making nighlife videos. The positive feedback, comments, and lengthy trip reports I’ve been getting were highly motivating to make more videos.

But all good things come to an end, and this YouTube channel is no different. So, I am here to announce that I won’t be making video any more …

That is in 2022. As I am releasing this video, we are almost halfway through December, and I’ll probably ramp up making new videos after New Years.

But to end this year with a bang, I am doing something special. I’ve been receiving comments like these [show comment missed promo] on a regular basis lately.

Guys who wanted to join the Thailand Guide, Mexico Guide, or Premium videos but missed the past promos by just a few days.

For this reason, I am doing a final end-of-the year special.
