1. The 3 Day Rule (Why its B.S.)

You never, ever, ever stay with a girl for more the 3 days, or else you will get totally, and completely attached to her. You’ll become needy as hell, and she’ll end up emptying your wallet.

The 3 day rule is one of the more mainstream Thailand nuggets of wisdom, and I can definitely see good intentions behind this rule. Every guy going to Thailand is different, so in an effort to keep everyone safe, blanket statements, and generalizations are an easy solution.

In reality, the 3 day rule is just a made up, arbitrary timeframe.

Someone decided that 3 days sounds cool, and so the 3 day rule was born. The timeframe is completely arbitrary, of course. Nothing special happens after 3 days.
